A blend of 56% Chardonnay, 24% Pinot Meunier, 20% Pinot Noir. It’s a refined blend dominated by the fruity Pinot Meunier combined with the elegance of Chardonnay.
vinification
First fermentation takes place in small 228 liter oak casks. To ensure that it maintains its original character, Alfred Gratien makes a conscious decision not to use malolactic fermentation in the production of its champagne.
aging
This wine is aged in bottle for four years, though the minimum imposed by law is 15 months.
color
A light, golden color with a fine, extremely long-lasting mousse.
