Freixenet Asti is produced in one of the most prestigious wine regions in Italy, Piedmont (Piemonte). This sparkling wine is delicate and elegant thanks to its unique winemaking process and varietal character.

After harvesting Moscato grapes, the cold must is brought to temperatures nearing 20 degree Celsius and alcoholic fermentation begins using selected yeasts. When the alcohol reaches values close to 5.5%, the re-fermentation stage begins. Once fermentation is interrupted by cooling and after a series of aging operations, bottling begins. The Freixenet Asti D.O.C.G retains all the characteristics of the Moscato Bianco grapes.
